Where the Rope Ends is an award-winning documentary feature film that has been in the works since 2017.

The film is about Nichole Doane, a local trauma nurse who went out canyoneering and found herself in a dangerous situation, dangling 60 feet above a rock ledge. She ultimately made the conscious decision to let go of the rope and free-fall, and experienced something that dreams are made of, or, in some moments, nightmares.

Serving as Producer, Director, and leading our distribution front, we had a successful film festival tour, winning many awards, including "Best Documentary Film" at the Los Angeles Documentary Film Festival and "Best Feature" at Poppy Jasper International Film Festival. We also put together an independent theatrical release, partnering with 50+ Search and Rescue Organizations all over the country, where they were able to raise thousands of dollars for their non-profits.

Where the Rope Ends will be streaming on DCP Plus this year.

You know that friend who can’t decide what to order? The one always asking the server for "just one more minute". That was me... except the menu is life, and the question is whether or not to have kids.

Since there’s no taste-test for parenthood, I set out to see what each path looks like, talking to parents, non-parents, childfree nomads, fertility experts, adoptive families, and everyone in between.

Part personal exploration, part social documentary, it's a space for honest stories, surprising perspectives, and a little bit of humor about the questions that keep us up at night.

You can watch full-length interviews on YouTube, short-form teasers on TikTokInstagram, and Facebook.
